Why do thread lift complications occur?

Threads used in lifting procedures naturally dissolve over time, so complications are relatively uncommon. However,
if threads are placed too superficially they can become visible through the skin,
or if they are placed too deeply, tissue may bulge or sink, which can lead to skin irregularity or, rarely, infection.
